The ideal candidate will have:

·         Coding experience using languages similar to C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python/R.

·         Willingness to step out of their comfort zone to learn not only programming practices but also business domain know-how.

·         Own projects that involve data analytics and visualization, risk analytics and monitoring, quantitative research, and trading.

·         Automate daily workflows by addressing operation pain points.

·         Reduce the usage of Excel VBA by providing better solutions.

·         Build prototypes or tactical tools to prove new operation/analytics ideas.

·         We follow Agile & DevOps practices, polish products by iterations, build, test, deploy and monitor ourselves.

·         We enforce peer reviews and automated tests to ensure code quality.

Requirements

· A minimum of 3 years of experience in either front-end or back-end development, or both. While you are not expected to be an expert in all areas, you should be comfortable working on any project aspect. Our developers are encouraged to grow with the team and become proficient in delivering end-to-end solutions.

· Eagerness to step out of your comfort zone and learn. You will encounter mathematical and statistical concepts that require understanding and implementing user requirements. You may also need to use multiple programming languages and frameworks within a single project to provide the most effective solution.

· Proficiency in English reading and writing. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds, and daily communication is primarily in English, while limited speaking ability is acceptable.  

Job Brief

Our team specializes in data analytics and visualization, handling multiple projects that encompass risk analytics, monitoring, quantitative research, and trading. We take an end-to-end approach to development, which includes database schema design, API design, and front-end UI/UX design. We use Agile and DevOps methodologies to refine our products iteratively, managing build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes. We maintain high-quality code through peer reviews and automated tests, using Git branching models, pull requests, and CI/CD tools.

· Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related areas

· Programming languages: Python and C++

· Good theoretical foundation of machine learning and data mining

· Good mathematics and statistic knowledge

· Familiar with modeling, algorithms and optimizations

· Strong ability in problem-solving.

· Familiar with machine learning related framework, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

· More than 1 year experience in building machine learning models

· Good reading and writing in English, limited speaking capacity is acceptable

· Research and development of applying machine learning models in financial market related forecasting

· Data collection, cleaning and analysis • Design and implement new features and forecasting models

· Validate and evaluate the proposed forecasting models

· Performance tuning and hyper-parameters tuning

· Develop the automation process for forecasting models’ signal generating

· Co-work with infrastructure developers to deploy forecasting models in production.

·         2+ years of ML project experience

·         1+ years of back-end experience using languages like C#/Java, C++/Rust, Python

·         Familiar with Machine Learning related frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch

·         Experience managing infrastructure, comfortable with Linux

·         Willing to step out of comfort zone and learn, good at problem-solving

Our team deals with data analytics and visualization; runs multiple projects involving risk analytics and monitoring, quantitative research and trading. We develop machine learning/deep learning models for quant strategies. As a ML Developer, you will work closely with ML researchers and other developers in the team. We’re looking for ML Developers to design, develop and maintain systems that assist ML researchers with various tasks including storage, data ETL, model training, validation and hyper-parameters tuning. The development work covers end-to-end, database schema design, API design and front-end UI/UX design. We follow Agile & DevOps practices, polish products by iterations, build, test, deploy and monitor ourselves. Using the Git branching model, pull requests and CI/CD tools, we enforce peer reviews and automated tests to ensure code quality.
