Education & Experience:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Scoping and execution of power engineering projects to plants in Taiwan, both for new construction and existing facilities
• Specify, review, analyze, and/or commission electrical systems and equipment and oversee equipment installation, commissioning and/or decommissioning
• Perform and/or review power system studies, load flow/short circuit analysis and relay coordination studies for facility-utility interconnection and internal power distribution systems
• Conduct failure analysis of power system equipment
• Work in collaboration with Project Managers, equipment suppliers, facility managers, and other project partners

Qualifications:

• College's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text).
• Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, or OPC.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical or control-related issues.

• Assist in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of PLC-based control systems and VFD, including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platforms and PowerFlex755.
• Support SCADA system configuration, monitoring, and alarm management (e.g., iFix, Power SCADA).
• Participate in control logic development, system debugging, and on-site commissioning and review PPA.
• Conduct system reliability assessments and assist in redundancy architecture planning (power redundancy, network redundancy, PLC redundancy).
• Prepare engineering documentation, including P&IDs, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and sequence of operation (SOO).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and equipment upgrades.

Education and Experience:

• Experience in CAD drawing capability, combustion process or heat recovery system will be a big plus.
